Mountain Biking

Over the Mountain Guest Farm at the end of the Montagu Pass is perfectly situated as a base or a stopover for mountain bikers riding up or down the Montagu Pass. The Cross Cape mountain bike trail also passes right by the Over the Mountain Guest Farm. Among the many other mountain bike events in the area is the now famous Karroo to Coast race from Uniondale to Knysna and the 360 in and around Oudtshoorn.

Palate Experience

The Culinary Experience is suited to those desiring to replicate the cooking or baking skills and intricate flavours of the region, while still leaving ample time for that signature Garden Route down-time. Including far more than just cooking workshops, guests will find themselves on a journey of flavour and self-discovery. Guests participate in group cooking classes, learning about local cuisine and preparing a three course meal that everyone enjoys together afterwards. Group sizes vary from 6 to 12 participants.
